Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 red onion, cut into chunks
  • Bell peppers (any color), cut into chunks
  • Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Chicken:
    • In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, turmeric, coriander, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
    • Add the cubed chicken to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or for better flavor, leave it to marinate overnight.
  2. Prepare the Skewers:
    • If you’re using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent them from burning during cooking.
    • Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers, alternating with chunks of red onion and bell peppers.
